i stopped being a fan since the 2nd marquez fight. he became a circus act since. Who was cherry picking fighters and let them drain down. I just wish he stayed at 130 or 135 and fought real fights like JMM III, Casamayor, Valero, Diaz, Katisids, and now Rios, Guerrero, Gamboa

but it made him a star for the casual fans and earned him a whole lot of money.. So what do he care what i think.

Exactly:deal They are just two guys acting all serious about wanting to fight each other. I think they both want to fight.

Just lots of different viewpoints coming from too many "insiders" about all the various angles that are just opinions and not nessecarily strictly speaking pure facts of the matter.

Arum says he spend 30 minutes with Pac for him to make his pick out of 4 top rank guys "in case they cant make the mayweather fight"

So arum flys half way around the world to only meet with Pac for 30 minutes to get him to pick an opponent from a list that does not have mayweather on it and then flys back to the US and we are supposed to believe they are even trying to make the mayweather fight?

Arum is setting up Pac-Cotto 2 so that floyd cant fight Cotto on May 5th, which Floyd-Cotto would sell more than anyone else floyd can fight. Pac has already beaten cotto and Pac also has the option of Bradley and JMM 4 from the Arum stable which are more meaningful fights than Cotto 2.

Arum gives two shits about boxing and the fans. Remember he was a lawyer before and only got into boxing for the money. He was never a boxing fan. He could die any day now and rather than be a part of the biggest boxing event of all time he would rather sabotage it because he has a hissy fit that Floyd left his ass to make more money working with GBP.

You might not be a pac fan anymore but you never loved him like us real Pac fans that would do anything for him. What wrong with being afraid of needles? If you were a real Pac fan you would know that his nike socks is were he gets his punching power.

This "Pacquiao is being manipulated by Arum" nonsense is laughable. It's tiresome to hear people justify Pacquiao hiding behind Arum as if he has absolutely no control over his career.

I wanted to include that initially but I don't see how a ***** could possibly have changed sides lately. This is a thread for disappointed Pac supporters.

Pacquiaos resume is set in stone already, I have the utmost respect for what he has achieved in the sport, whether he fights Mayweather or not

If they believe that. They should immediately begin scouring Philippine law books trying to find a legal maneuver to remove Pacquiao from Congress. If he can't survive Bob ****ing Arum trying to control him what happens when he's being approached by foreign governments, high powered lobbyists, military personnel, etc.?

Floyd had a whole year to call his bluff on testing, crash Arum's conference call, and sign the fight when negotiations were in serious talks the first two rounds without moving the goalposts.

and he was taking the blame overwhelmingly then.

"Step up, punk" is what will be remembered at this point if the fight doesn't happen.
