Ortiz trainer didn't even know what he was doing talking about aiming for Floyd's shoulder with the right jab. That left shoulder is used as a timing mechanism to set up Floyd's counter right.

Floyd doesn't actually have that much problem with volume. If you watch his style, it's specifically orchestrated to negate follow up punches. He ducks and gets the hell out of there when he's hit by one solid punch so that any following punches don't land. If you watch Ortiz (or basically any fight in Floyd's earlier career) he throws combinations like mad on the ropes and maybe 2/7 land. Volume isn't how to beat Floyd. Pressure and body punching USED to be the way to go, but we all saw how that went for Oscar and Hatton. You have to be able to continuously time Floyd and set him off. That's not Manny's style. He's a warrior, so I think it will be a lot more competitive than some people think, but he's at a huge stylistic disadvantage.

This. Floyd's defensive habits actually play into pacquao hands. FLoyd is more keen on using his upperbody for defense rather then his legs. Movement/angles is what throws pac off. Floyd likes to stay in the pocket, and against southpaws he's relatively stationary and stands directly in front of you. Not that he cant win the fight that way, but it'll be a rough one.

Pac's sneaky straighter lead cuts through that right every time. This is what've been saying, at a southpaw stance that lead left functions like jab on floyd's would be exposed head. A straight beats a hook every time....unless your so much faster than he other guy which in this case is not. That's the shoulder roll's weakness against a southpaw stance. To top it off Pac ain't the type to let you off the hook after one connect, so even if the first punch is parried a right cross could be following right behind it.

    LOL-

PAC'S JAB IS MUCH "SHORTER" THAN JUDAHS...JUDAH'S 'TECHNICAL" STYLE AND QUICKER HANDS IS WHAT GOT TO FLOYD-PAC DOES NOT POSESS THE SKILLSET NOR THE "STYLE" TO PRESENT THIS TO FLOYD-

Floyd will be able to easily counter Mannie's amatuer left hook with a 1-2 jab-right hand-

Floyd will be able to easily pull range over Pac's short jab and land a right hand all night.

When Manny "runs in" whining like a baby-Floyd can pivot off his back foot and side step Manny (basically take the angle right back after Manny gets the angle off him) and pop him with a right hand...

FLOYD BY KO IN 7 MAYBE 8 ROUNDS-PAC MAKES TOO MANY MISTAKES:deal

I think that's all fine and jolly when fighting someone who is not intentionally standing still. Someone who doesn't have much of a choice other than exchange and put pressure.
Surely Mayweather stands still, but only when he wants. He chooses when to do so.
Most of his fights, he turns a new page and comes up with something not new to the boxing scene, but new to his current opponent.
It's just hard to picture Manny putting such displays against Floyd.
By logic, Manny loses to Floyd. But we still want to see the fight.
Floyd will make it exciting as long as he is in control of the fight. But if Manny brings uncomfortable pressure, then don't be surprised if the fight turns out to be very slow paced.

HUH-LOL...Floyd will be the one throwing the straighter punches:deal...

When Pac throws his amatuer hook, Floyd can use a jab-right hand (and throw it hard as he'll have a lot of time) to Pac's temple and jaw-...

Pac is very AMATUER with most of his punches-Floyd will eat him up-

Floyd will control the tempo of the fight with the longer arms and better footwork too:deal
