Carl Froch: Most overrated fighter of the last 5 years?

Pascal is a Average opponent bro, Taylor was winning even kd him but just gassed like he always does, Dirrell beat him.

 

True, Carl doesn't show much respect unlike your hero Bute, but he shows balls on the other hand unlike well you get my point.

Who is it that travel to who for the 1st (and only) fight between Froch and Bute? Wouldnt surprise me if Marlon was ref If Bute was so brave why does he not take "1st" fight away?

I reckon he knew he weren't good enough so he fort to himself let me take a risk fight abroad whats the worst that can happen! Why do you think hes having a 2 fight deal with bute? He knows he'll lose the first so he wants a pay day for a 2nd.

 

maybe some will agree maybe some wont but.... peter manfedo jr. Got alot of big fights but never quite put in the performance that maybe he was expected to and fell well short of what people had expected of him.

 

In my opinion, ones' viewing of Froch is overrated if you agree with three out of the following four: you had him top 10 P4P going into the Ward fight, scored the Kessler fight for him, think he beat Dirrell, OR think he has an "A" level win on his resume.

Anthony Mundine is the most overrated fighter of the last five years. Maybe you have to stretch it a little longer then that to truely include him but I haven't seen a list of undeservering title shots and bum of the month title defenses since Marcus Byer and Sven Otke pretended to be world champions. At least Carl Froch has fought really top level fighters.

 

He beat Dirrell, but that's it. In fact-and I say this as a fan of his-the Dirrell fight result was possibly more due to Dirrell's negative performance than anything else. I don't believe in 'taking the belt from the champion' or in 'close rounds go to the champ', but Dirrell's performance in that fight was pitiful. Who knows though, perhaps if Dirrell had fought the same way from the start as he did in the latter rounds he'd have suffered the same fate as Taylor.

 

solid fighter with very solid resume but ran into very gifted boxer in andre ward but that does nuthing to tarnish what he has done or how he is presived an i guess im in the minority but i believe he takes butte out

 

No froch is so overrated wish joe had accepted his challange and beat him for 12 rds, can't stand froch at world level coz people like you boost his ego.
