This would have been one hell of a fight.

Duran would end up giving him a severe beating. He's all wrong for Pryor. Pryor would go ok early but get ground down with each round. The Hawk would try to box him, but Duran so compact, moving forward, bobbing, weaving, anticipating, countering. Duran would work the body quite hard early too.

Pryor would not be able to dictate when he wants to box and when he wants to fight like he did vs Alexis. Duran would be right on top of him when he tries to box, and when they exchange he'd exploit Aaron's wild fundamentals. Pryor's frentic workrate and natural talent and assets let him get away with a lot even against really good fighters, but Duran would be another story.

Pretty much the worst matchup i can think of for the Hawk.

I believe Duran is superior in every aspect of the game, except frequency of volume, which he could still easily match when necessary or desired. Duran is simply the superior boxer and the superior infighter, and would punish him for every shot he threw or missed.

I'd have to pick Duran, but I wouldn't bet a cent, and I'd have to see this one.

Pryor`s style plays right into Duran`s hands, Pryor is too open & Duran is too good at slipping shots & making you pay... it would be a very exciting fight stylewise, a war no doubt but a war that Duran would kick his ass in over 12 or 15 rounds. UD.

Duran! Too solid of a fighter even for a great one like pryor. Durans combination of aggression and defense would be the difference.

Difficult fight to scout. Pryor had speed, power, and a relentless work rate. He could also stick and move and box when he wanted to, so he was versatile. On the other hand, there was something sloppy and at times wild about Pryor, especially his defense, and I could see a guy with the timing and poise and speed that Duran had really timing him well. Plus, Duran at his best was not very easy to hit solidly all that often, and he knew how to step, dip, and slide in on guys and not only attack but quickly counter. Intriguing matchup. I too would be hesitant to wager too much either way.

I'm pretty sure Duran would win over 8 or 9 rounds. But I would not at all be suprised to see him time Pryor with a right hand, knock him down, then finish him in the first or second round. A first round 3 kd tko would not suprise me at all.

Pryor wasn't truly knocked out even when he was totally shot drug addict who didn't even looked like Pryor fighting at welter.

Seriously doubt anybody can stop prime Pryor.

You just have to think that anyone in the 135-140 range would not fare well taking consistent shots from Duran. However, Pryor(unlike PBF) had the intensity and firepwoer to make this very interesting... But I like Duran late...

    Duran hands down

However I agree that Pryor manages to keep things interesting and is resilent enough to finish the fight on his own feet. I don't expect a stoppage here

Pryor's a great one but Duran a class above. Aaron far too hittable.

Fun fight, Duran's in control the whole through. Almost certainly dominates at times.

I like Duran simply because of the styles match up.

Bad fight for Pryor. I think Duran stops him late. Had Duran beaten Pryor it would have helped his legacy since that would have been 2 ATG fighters he beat in his career and not one, and had he stopped Pryor, it would have been the only ATG he stopped.
