Gone are the days 3-5 years ago when manny just got on with it!

i feel manny has become too popular for his own good and he needs to remember that fights like Barerra Morales ODLH Hatton are what turned casual fans into big fans of the guy.

I think That Mannys rise in popularity joined with the greedy Jew Arum keeping all his fights in-house is starting to **** people off, me included.

fighters are there to fight! thats what they train for, all this boxing politics is very damaging to the sport and its slowly losing its fan base to MMA IMO

i want to see this fight badly as boxing fan but at the same it would be frustrating for me to witness him (pac) agreeing to all floyd's possible demands at his disadvantage (physically and mentally) just to let his fans happy.

maybe he wants his fans to understand and consider his hard work and dedication all through out his boxing career, from nobody to being the fighter of the decade, may be enough to allow himself to negotiate what he feels just right against someone who is equally popular and achiever like him.

gbp and top rank competition is another story.

so is it final that it's Cotto? The whole thing is frustrating to watch so I'll honestly just reserve judgement until it's final.

If it is then I'd be massively disappointed in Pac. A far cry from the Pac who went against Barrera, Marquez and Morales in the span of a little over a year.

It'll be a situation like for Floyd where I respect the guy in the ring, will still watch him fight, but will have lost a lot of respect for the guy outside the ring.

    No.
Bandwagon fans are those who stay in spite of how stupid their "idol" has become.
They are hellbent on worshipping their idol even when he is making a complete fool of himself.

These "people who are jumping off" are real boxing fans who call bull**** when they see one, even if it was done by their favorite fighter.

Actually bandwagon fans are fans who stop being fans the moment their favorite fighter loses, has a bad showing or has has fallen out of grace with the public. They stop being fans once it isn't convenient anymore.

I think you're confusing bandwagon fans and nuthuggers.

I kind of agree but you can still focus on other boxers and still support them. Even if what is happening at the minute(and in the past) between them is absolute bull****.

PACS done enough in my book to always have me as a fan.

He's just hit the part of his career where money is more important.

But i'm not going to hate him for it. Cotto is the same right now. Purely thinking about money.

It annoys me, and its tainted it a bit for me. But i'm still a fan

I'll take you at your word that you were a fan/supporter. It's laughable that a bunch of people are trying to judge a person living a half a world away thru the prism of their Americans lives (His biggest detractors are ignorant black Americans who think Tupac is a cultural icon). These people black, white, hispanic Americans have no clue what difficulties Pacquiao had to endure or the CULTURE he grew up in. Having been born here, but on several occasions gone back to the Philippines I have a little insight of what's going thru Pacquiao's mind.

I am a FANATIC of Pacquiao because of the way he fights, the rest of the stuff is background noise or minutia. The second he starts to fight like Mayweather (a man that is calculating in EVERY WAY and does JUST enough to get by) is the second I cease to be his fan.

This stupid SAGA is frustrating yes and I don't neccessarily excuse Pacquiao's part, but I know who's mostly to blame... It's a MAN/CHILD that's had an EXTENSIVE history of ducking potentially DANGEROUS opponents WAY BEFORE Pacquiao even came into the picture.

Your poll choices are FLAWED... :-:)smoke
