Box Nation this weekend

I've got one Live World Title fight on record and that is obviously Derry Matthews but then there is another one in the early morning but they haven't clarified what fight that will be.

Anyone know?

I think it's just the Mathews fight on BN this weekend.

 

Miguel Vazquez-Ameth Diaz is the only one this weekend to my knowledge, I can't imagine they've gotten that.

EDIT: Obviously there's Rigo-Ramos too, but that's on Premier.

 

That is at 8pm but then there is another one at 3am in the morning.

 

Probably just a repeat of the Derry fight but they haven't taken the 'Live' bit from the title.

 

would be nice of them to get Vasquez one of the most under rated fighters in boxing.

 

Does anybody know if they are showing Paul butler ?

It'll be a repeat, I wonder hwo they will treat the IBO title on the channel...

 

Hopefully badly but the fact its on Sky as a 'World Title' fight isn't good news. If it even remotely becomes recognised then look for Frank to *******ise it as he has the WBO. It will keep us from seeing the best of britain versus top world fighters.

 

Hopefully they will poiint out it is more of a stepping stone title, but they will most likely point to Wlad, Tarver etc. and say that the belt has gained legitimacy since it was last seen on these shores... one thing I would like though, is all these IBo fights in SA and the likes being shown on BN. Surely it wouldnt cost **** all, and you wouldnt exactly need pundits when theres not going to be that many people watching either way.

 

Ah just the one world title fight live this weekend then.

Still, you can't have them all. World titles don't grow on trees.
