Kid coulda ruled the division once the K-bros are gone if he put the work in. No doubt in my mind. atsch
Solis' obesity started well before leaving Cuba, after the 2004 Olympics. I'm afraid he lost motivation once he grabbed Gold, his pro career is just a way to earn a buck without much passion. At least he showed up at an okay weight vs. Vitali, and if that humbling experience didn't crush him he might come back more hungry. Um, for boxing.
The heavyweight division is a division that's home to fighters who can't be bothered stay in shape. That's all it is now.
I agree. Talent-wise he's clearly the best behind the Klitschkos but you can't force him to love boxing. He sees it as his job not as his passion. We gotta deal with it.
uh oh why so touchy & nervous? That's what intimidation does to you you know. Look at my man Robbe on my avatar. He looks calm & relaxed. Just another day at the office. That is the look of a killer.
Solis has one of the greatest event wins of the last decade. He clowned Vitali, a future HOF event winner himself. Poor thread.
