Cruiser is a more competitive division which produces better fights imo. I'd rather watch a fight between 2 200lbs guys who are in good shape than sit through another heavyweight bore-fest with fat, unmotivated characters involved.
solis will be back...fatter than ever... jury is out on tubby...he needs to get back into the ring and be active...
I think Solis was touched by Vitali's power, and realized quickly that he didn't have the skills to take out one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.
Well, I take my iphone to the mens room for a well earned break once a day. I like to think of it as my other office.
Sooner you bury Solis. Solis will return and become the undisputed champion. Solis will make shut up his detractors.
Interesting! Don't know, be nice to find out, HW is a funny division. Right now, the majority of the division seem over keen on maintaning high % of body fat so that they can sit down on their punches. I think there's always been an element of that within the division, just not so much that EVERY HW (with the exception of the K bros and their physiological advantages) have no interest in maintaining a "boxers" physique.
Thanks, nice find. What a massive shame, if only he bothered to maintain the shape he was in back then, he might actually have brought some genuine excitement to the division. You'd presume as well (with him being Cuban), that he has quite the extensive amateur background. Maybe he's a bigger waste of talent then we originally thought. That said, the injury he suffered against Vitali I believe was genuine, would have been interesting to see how the fight panned out had his knee not given way (albeit perhaps down to his poor conditioning). I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now, lets hope he can build his way back up to another K fight and see how he goes from there.
