Fair points but there's nothing to suggest he ducked Martinez, the only person stopping the fight happening is Arum. Sound familiar?

I remember the 2 fights with Molina too, he was very lucky to be 1-0-1 with him.

    David Haye.

His stock has fallen so much that nowadays people believe even Chisora would be too much for him, but I still think he beats every heavyweight out there not named Klitschko. Most of them early.

ye sounds familiar, thing is Arum is a smart man with a wealth of experience in the sport and hes keeping those fights from happening because he knows they would both get their asses beat

Gheorghe Danut looked like a little ball of fire when I saw him against Hussine Bayram. He's the kind of Eastern European that Maloney should have been bringing over instead of pregnant latvians and 90 year olds. He was better than his record (which looks very dodgy with 7 draws on it) but sadly looks like he's given up the gamehttp://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=371416&cat=boxer

I have no doubt that Eduardo Lausse would be dominating at middleweight today.

 Conspired with HBO? Get your facts straight Pat, that's a bit slanderous, bro. I have no interest in the ''politics'' side of the game and even I know that's not the case. What actually happened was Martinez defeated Pavlik for the belts initially. As a result Sebastian Zbik became his mandatory soon after, a demand Martinez accepted, which HBO said no to, suggesting Dzinziruk, which Martinez also accepted. Because he wasn't facing his mandatory the WBC stripped Maravilla, who then in turn offered Chavez the opportunity to fight Zbik. HBO accepted this fight because the Son Of Legend's name essentially promotes itself.

He didn't avoid Martinez to fight Zbik. Martinez didn't fight Zbik and in turn Chavez Jr did, I doubt there was a conspiracy theory behind it either, just HBO/Arum knowing that money could be made from making the Chavez-Zbik fight, where it wasn't in there best interest to make Martinez fight him over Dzinziruk. Is it fair? Nope. But don't act as though Jr masterminded the plan himself, he could be the draw that Martinez couldn't and as a result they accepted the idea of him fighter Seb.

And I believe you're referring to the first Vanda bout rather than Cuello as one he was fortunate to receive the win in. The Cuello encounter was certainly close but there's no argument in my opinion to suggest that he didn't warrant the win. And regarding the Vanda fight, it wasn't so much that he got the decision, it was the margins. Most people had one point either way or a draw, whereas two judges had Jr receiving every round:)patsch) and 7 of them respectively. Razor-thin fight that was made to look like a robbery due to incompetant officiating.

Since when has Ruiz ever been easy to stop, let alone stop early? Tua did it about fifteen years ago, I think Haye is the only other one to get him out of there. Sure he was past his best when they fought, but Haye had him down twice and hurt in the first round. And then knocked him down two more times.

So to conclude, I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.

I would love to see Haye in with the likes of Arreola, Adamek and Povetkin. Even Tarver if he moves up. It's a shame he seems unwilling to participate in these types of fights.

    :good

Though personally i'd go for Abner Mares, gets loads of **** on here, and i don't think it's just because of his first fight with Agbeko, which he was rather lucky but at least he didn't avoid the re-match and pretty much dominated him (117-111), he he doesn't get any credit for that. He's had 4 tough fights on the bounce now which never get mentioned.

Also, back on Chavez, take out the world title and he has some decent wins on his record

Nobody seems to like Huck apart from me :-( I still think Abraham, once he gets his confidence back will be dangerous but everyone is writing him off.

Tyson Fury gets a lot of grief but I'm a fan, Kell Brook doesnt attract many positive comments but I think he'll do very well.

I like Andy Lee and I rate him to give anyone at middleweight a good fight and hopefully pick up a strap at some stage.

Not really sure what everyone else's opinion of him is though..
