I hope he gets his long awaited rematch and i hope this time he doesnt get rescued by the ref and instead takes his full punishment like a man for once, also i hope his knee breaks like yuri foreman and well see what happens when he cant get on his bike in the last 6 rounds like last time

There a big difference in punching speed between Margo and Pac but Cotto did look in tremendous shape against Margo 2.
His new Cuban coach obviously did great things for him and with the right gameplan he might be able to beat Pac this time out or at least make it a closer fight.

 

That’s understandable. He is, after all, a small welterweight to begin with.

So, he should stop picking on guys bigger than him, then.

Because honestly, the only thing that can make Pac-Cotto II slightly more bearable, is if it was to take place at 154. And if you take that away and make it at 147, then Pacquiao will be seen to be weight-draining a guy whose ass he’s already kicked. It’s ridiculous. I understand it’s all business, but, it’s like Pac’s handlers are purposefully making decisions to make the boxing public resent him.

Cotto got smoked by Pac. There's no reason for a rematch. Cotto isn't any different. Pac may have slowed down a bit, but that doesn't warrant a rematch. Cotto beat a man everyone else was beating without his wraps.

 

Cotto needs to fight Austin Trout or give up that WBA belt that he won against Yuri Foreman years ago and defended against a retired Mayorga and then Margarito.

And did Cotto even win a round against Pacquiao the first time?

 

At least Ortiz won a belt against a good opponent.

 

I find it funny that we rarely hear Cotto mention Mayweather as a fight he wants. I think he knows he wouldn't stand a chance. I still remember the look on his face when he was in attendance to the Floyd/Gatti fight. Dude looked shell shocked. I guess you can't blame.
