Sorry about the late call... 7:30-9pm tonight. Thomas Hauser. Derry Mathews. Roy Jones Jr. Otou Saba. Shane McPhilbin. Terry Norris. Tony DeMarco....and a few others. :!: Enjoy and thanks. Adios.
Terrible Terry. :happy He's not that easy to understand due to early parkinsons syndrome, so take it easy, Buncey. Also you have to ask him about the Paul Vaden feud.
Ali talking sense was so much better than his trash talking IMO. Don't get me wrong, it was great to sell fights etc, but this stuff is golden
Steve Lillis with a bit of Lacoste on? Should get him down West Ham for the Millwall visit with that type of clobber! WAR LILLIS!!!
Terry Norris is one of the most mentally strong and exciting fighters i've EVER seen. He had a dodgy chin but NEVER got gun-shy. He had a habit of bullying smaller guys, playing the old okey-dokey and getting the likes of Blocker, Brown, Medrick Taylor, Don Curry to move up so he could feast on them smaller guys. I never really forgave him for beating my idol Ray Leonard. That's about 5 ex welterweight champs. But i learned to appreciate Terry Norris. He had special characteristics. Even though he mainly feasted on smaller guys and his chin was suspect and he was a little volitile, boy was he exciting. Speed, compact punching, footwork and a real KILLER instinct. One mean streak on him. Great finisher too. Ask him why he never wanted a rematch with Julian Jackson (we all know why really) when they were in the same stable. How he would do against Floyd Mayweather? I think he would be a nightmare for Floyd personally. Are him and Paul Vaden cool now? (although i already know the answer to that).
By the way, for those who don't know about the Norris/Vaden feud. They grew up on the same neighbourhood so had history before what really caused the friction . Paul Vaden was apparently sleeping with Terry's girl behind his back. Norris proceeded to punish Vaden in the ring and prolong the beating.
