According to Arum, he needs Mayweather to contact him directly to get the ball rolling because he isn’t quite sure who to deal with in putting the fight together. Unless Arum is absolutely certain who’s the management representative to start working with Mayweather then he can’t put the fight together. Arum is still interested in making the fight next as long as he’s contacted by Mayweather and receives instructions from him as to who to deal with to start putting the mega fight together.

Do you think Floyd will call Bob or by any other means?

how does floyd want the negotiations to go anyway? does he want to be called or is he the one to call since he already made it clear that he's the one to make offers?

Oscar De La Hoya has claimed thatRichard Schaefer tried to call your office several times to make this fight, and nobody returns his calls?

Arum: Now wait a second. It's the same as you, calling me, and saying 'I want to do this fight, I'm promoting Mayweather, let's sit down and talk.' I wouldn't do that because I don't know if you're representing Mayweather or you aren't. You don't have a contract with Mayweather and neither does Schaefer. Schaefer has done some promotions for Mayweather for a fee, but that doesn't mean he's representing him on this type of situation.

who does arum have to deal with from floyd's side to make this fight???

haymon represented floyd on the greenburg mediated negotiation but couldn't deliver.

gbp does not seem to have a signed contract with floyd now and as far as i know, floyd hasn't authorized them as of yet.

    ellerbe????

is there no way of all these people involved of getting a hold of anybody? it's like everyone's in the dark and don't have a single clue as to who is who. i'm sure seeing as arum might be talking to the wrong guys wouldn't someone from floyd's camp reach halfway and say or confirm who their official representative is?

    Look at you playing dumb

Ellerbe also informed Golden Boy promoter Richard Schaefer, who does not have a contract with Mayweather but has promoted his last five bouts, of the plan.
"I'm very excited that the sport's biggest pay-per-view star is going to be back on May 5," Schaefer told ESPN.com. "We have informed the pay-per-view industry and I have the arena on hold. I'm excited to continue my relationship with Floyd and his team. It's always fun to work with Floyd."

He is his own boss. So he can directly negotiate with Arum. Does it mean, the fight is just a call away?
