Which fighter do you rate that nobody else does?

If I post in this thread will people promise to not get angry at me in general as that seems to be the theme of this thread. In all honesty I have to say that its good to see some spirited debate lads even if it gets a bit personal at times just goes to show how much we care about boxing. If we all sat around here patting each other n the back it would be a **** forum.

In terms of underrated fighters I like Dirrell in this but it has been done over and over.Terrezas is a good shout Pab and I think it was a very brave thing to come over from Mexico despite ash cloud etc but quite foolish no time for adjustment to time zones an epic journey from Madrid to Coventry. Im sure it was only a few days before the fight as well not even a week.

I always thought in a recent historical sense Robin Reid gets a bit underrated he is a bit of a "what if" fighter but I certainly rate him higher than most. I also think Tyson FUry is a bit underrated as well despite all his shortcomings he is a talent no doubt imo. There has been a lack of high workrate/output heavyweight fighters in recent years.

 

Andre Dirrell seems to bring it out in people.:-(

 

Oh also to add to my post I think that Derry Matthews is highly underrated. I think he would give Kevin Mitchell a very good fight at LW. Im pretty sure he is Euro class but has never had any of the "official" belts so people find it hard to measure him.

His scalps are pretty impressive though. Simpson, Marsh, Foster Jr, Choi (sort of) and of course the one and only Stephen "stumpy" Chinnock

 

I agree on Derry. Only problem with him is durability, and it was probably a lot to do with the weight cut. Choi is a monster and Lindsay caght him with a peach.
