Thats not going to happen. doubt we'll ever see Eddie and Frank work together on a big fight. Have you seen FWs big open letter to Eddie over on the scene? No love lost at all.

I think Bute-Ward should be made instead. Admittedly, don't find Froch Vs Bute that appealing a matchup, in terms of what Frochy brings to the table and as I don't want to see him get spanked again.

Maybe so but money talks mate.

  4. There's plenty of options for Froch at 175 if he fancies that.

I'm sure Shumenov would be up for it, or Cloud.

Bit harsh on Froch that really after they have spent his last 6 fights building Froch up and making him an attraction they decide that pitting him with another non US fighter also on Showtime makes no sense.

I guess I can see the idea that they would want a Bute win maybe more than a Froch win but still seems a bit harsh.

Tough to see where Forch goes from here does thi smean Showtime basically arent backing him anymore :think Maybe he should just have an easyish Euro level fight as a homecoming, rematch Magee? Would still sellout Trent FM arena.

I agree with Flea. It's got to be Ward v Bute. Plus Bute will give Froch a hiding.
Rather see Froch fight at the City ground against Kessler/Stieglitz or move up
    to fight Pascal/Cleverly.

Maybe Froch will have an easier fight if the Bute fights off? I don't begrudge him that, might be good for him in the long run, then fight the winner of Kessler v Stieglitz in the summer?

    There's always a Pascal rematch.

Or he could have a bit of a lay-off and wait for Kessler.

No way will Frank put Clev anywhere near Froch so long as Froch is still under 40.

Shame Showtime are being pricks about this fight though. With Ward seeming to not want Bute yet, Bute/Froch is perfect.

if it means they make Bute vs Ward I will be happy.

offer some big money and get Kelly Pavlik over. The fight still sells and Pavlik is WBO No.1 so he gets the Kessler rematch.
