I see this on the general (I no, shocking source for info), but i thought it might be of some interest I hope he comes back. Not nice to see a fighter go out like this. Otherwise, Chisora Chin TKO1 Robbie's shoulder :deal
Yeah, it popped up 6 weeks before the Chisora bout, likely story......:yep Nah, but I hope he recovers. He makes for a good fight with anyone at heavyweight.
That was the first thing to come to my mind also. I mean, why didnt Helenius say he hurt his shoulder in the fight, rather than saying he thought he broke his hand? Perhaps it was lost in translation. We are getting conflicting reports from the same people.
Uli Wenger is a horrible coach in terms of compassion towards fighters. If he trained here i believe he'd of had pressure from Board to look after fighters more or have license revoked. With regards to Helenius, He seems a excuse maker IMO. Coming out with hand injury after fight now this. He knows he lost and whether this is true or not i don't really care for guy he's nothing special. I must admit i believe Chisora's stock on here may have gone a bit over top recently. Helenius is a decent heavyweight by today's standards but nothing special and Chisora beat him and performed well but some of posts about Chisora recently have been a bit silly.
Dell boy is reaping the rewards of the OTT press media Helenius got. Did you see when Max Kellerman was hyping him as the man to beat the Klits!:yep
No never see that, that's shocking. People really try to create stars and contenders out of average fighters. I remember before the Chisora fight people feeling he'd blow Dereck away with ease. Only a few of us felt Dereck would be competitive and win rounds.
The subtle change in attitude towards Chisora is what strikes me most. There were a few on here that thought he would be blown away within a few rounds by the Finn (who has never really looked that good IMO.) I'm just still smug that i picked Chisora to beat the fool And, for what its worth, i think Chisora gives Vitali a real go before losing on points.
sound like damage limitation to me. Watch, 6 months down the line Helenius will have magically recovered from this career ending injury. Perhaps Dirrell can point Robbe in the direction of Dr Shaw HI. I hear he is a real miracle worker
