There is a chance this fight will be made, either for March 17 this year, or sometime farther in the future.

If this fight happens, how do you think it would go?

Quillan always looks tense when he fights IMO, tries to load up on too many of his punches. Lee takes it on points but Choc in a year or two? Who knows....he's got potential.

I think Quillin has a lot of skill and it may take Lee some time to figure him out. Having said that Quillin hasn't been tested by a power puncher like Lee. Great great fight though. Quillin has balls for chasing this - as does lee for risking it. I have it almost 50/50 here. Both are serious contenders in my opinion. Both would beat Sturm also!

I'll go with Lee, when he's focused he looks to have the better ring generalship. What was the story for when these guys sparred in the past?

It's great that another relevant fight in the middleweight division might get made, but I think this one has a serious chance of being a horrible style match-up.

I think Quillan would stop Lee in a late round.

    Say what?

Quillin looks pretty good. Decent balance & plenty of pop in both hands.

Lee is more reserved, but Lee's fundamentals are really, REALLY good, especially his counter-punching.

IMO, Quillin leaves himself open a lot (just slightly) when he throws his right.
I think that unless he scores an early, lucky, KO, Lee will play with him, eventually wear him down, then get him with a counter shot. Probably a check hook, but Quillin is also sometimes open for a right, as he doesn't back away much after throwing a hard shot. Sometimes it looks like he's just standing there admiring his work.

I think it would be a great fight to see, since they both have "pretty" styles and like to fight from the outside, and would help the career of either fighter, whomever wins.

If Vera could land his right hand at will Quillin would tee off on him. And he is a way sharper and harder puncher the Vera or McEwan.

    Kid Chocolate KO 6

Have you seem Lee's last few fights? He is the exact same as you just described. He fell in love with his right hook and that's why Vera beat his ass and McEwan was beating his ass.
