Did God shut down Frazier on earth and call him to Heaven?

    I've heard that too, but George Benton and others in his camp have said Frazier's demeanor changes immediately as soon as the cameras leave the room. He might have softened his feelings towards Ali, but I think he was still bitter.

    There are enough threads in this forum rehashing and rematching the same prime vs prime H2H, old vs new matchups with the same answers.

    It gets pretty boring. In fact, I thought about the idea for this thread from the interviews I've seen on Frazier discussing religion, his relationship with Ali and how the Muslim faith changed him.

    I don't know God's reason for taking Joe from us, but He evidently needed him more than we did.

    I prayed for The Lord not to take Joe Frazier from us, but I can't question His will. I was devastated. I need to see Evander Holyfield for counseling. Maybe he knows the reason Joe was taken from us so soon. (Evander is good with Jesus.) The good die young, I guess. See you on the other side, Joe.

    I respect all religious beliefs, but I admit this is a weird thread

    In any case, I think God has better things to do that taking Frazier down for some petty rivalry with Ali

    Lets be positive here and assume that God took Frazier down just because Joe, Rocky, Archie and all the gang upstairs were boring sparring old Peter and asking for a real challenge
