barney ross..well a modern remake where drug addiction isnt just a "ah, get over it ya bum" sort of thing.

    Steve Robinson

Jason booth/nicky booth is an interesting spin around tale. both goodprospects then good domestic fighters but then the minor celebrity, tons of money from poor neighbourhoods was too much. nicky goign completly off the rails, jason losing his ibo belt falling into a drug and booze filled existence. to come back to in british commonewealth over other good fighters then fight for a true world championship.

cant remember the name, the country's or when but there was a good story of 2 fighters from different countries in south america. they had a war and in the end of it one guy slipped into a coma the other guy gave all of his money to pay for the doctors. and he was stuck away from his family while his family where sliding into poverty. so the other guy got on a plane to meet the other boxers family and helped out where he could. re-moved them to live with his family and be able to look after their father/husband. after 2 years of slow re animation and learning to walk again, he made a full recovery, so much so he had 1 more fight for his countrys national title...and won.

now if anybody knows who one, both, where, when, the story above PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF **** tell me!!!!

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Ron Lyle yet. He's kind of a favorite here and he would combine 2 favorite genres, prison and boxing movies.

that is what is great about the fab 4 guys. They were all so different in personality and stories and styles. And no one really came out as really dominant. Ray beat them all, but he struggled also.

Well if they can bring Micky Ward to the screen, they can certainly do a bio on Arturo Gatti

another vote from me for jack dempsey and barney ross.....

i'd also love to see one about the old old timers.one of the characters like tom sayers.it would have everything, not to mention the first proper world title fight.
jem mace's story is unbelievable and would translate well.

tom cribb's story would be a good 'un as well.
