My point is Pacquiao had problems landing clean hard punches on a *38* year old Marquez.

and unlike Marquez - Floyd has the reach, the height, the footwork and probably an advantage in speed over Pacquiao.

    You do the math...

Zab and Oscar both got in some sweet shots and managed to win more than a round. Hatton did neither.

Go look at the discouragement on his face after the eigth

A 33 year old Pacquaio and like it has been said before. Styles makes fights and Marquez just as that style which will always create a difficult, close fight.

Read Bogos thread and come back to me.

So therefore I made one mistake. Like I said in another thread I watched that fight a long time ago when I wasn't a hardcore fan and the punches probably looked like they were landing to me.

Actually he's spot on. Pac becomes easily frustrated when you don't fight his fight. See Mosley, Cotto late, JMM and Clottey for reference.:deal

I have no particular dislike of Pacquaio but I just cannot see how a case can be made for him beating Floyd.I just don't think this fight has the appeal it had in 09-10 and can't see how Floyd would be anything other than an unbackable favourite. If this really could be a true indicator of the two best fighters in the world, then you would expect the odds to be split faily evenly. They may be the two best on the P4P list, but for me,it just isn't a close fight, which obliterates it's previous appeal.

Comfortable decision with the possibility of Mayweather straight embarrassing Pacquiao.

Can anyone really come up with a realistic case and blueprint for Manny winning?

No because Manny eats right hands like M&M's. No way Manny can win if he is getting hit with Floyd's best punch all night.
