It's his only chance at making the olympics i suppose. Big surprise tho....jumping up from 52kg last year! Also interesting to note that Christy Joyce has entered at 75kg. People were saying he was meant to wait another year. Patrick Corcoran listed as Crumlin boxer....is that a mistake?

Ciaran Healy v Seanie Monaghan in MSG now in jeopardy after BUI strip the Belfast boxer of his Irish title. There could be serious trouble over this.

I'm fairly sure Patrick Corcoran is in Crumlin BC, I saw him spar a few lads from my club a few months back.

Picks Barnes Conlon Nevin McDonagh Moylette Only a madman would hazard a pick at 69 so, Forde! O'Neill Egan Corcoran Sheehan. Don't know what Quigley is doing, would fancy him at 69. Also is Burnett entering?
Just looking at the 64kg now I wouldnt expect him to win it but David Roche could be a dark horse, this Kid has had an unbelieveable last 4 months winning the Youths/U21 and intermediate titles.
So Brian Magee got Irish fighter of the Year. Personally I voted for Andy Lee. Conlan got Prospect of the Year, I went with Jamie. Paschal Collins got coach of the year - probably deserved it and I must have forgotten him but I went with Checa. Spike got Irish champion of the Year, it was a toss up between him and Tims. I went with Tims. Anyway who did others vote for?
