Yes!...though the hardcore boxing fans got on Pavlik after he beat Miranda the "world stage" was certainly his win over Taylor
    And obviously Taylor V Hopkins

Jeff Harding vs. Dennis Andries in the first fight. Good trilogy that for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Even though he lost. Azumah Nelson's coming out party was against Salvador Sanchez. Azumah was pretty much unheralded and considered a routine defense for Sanchez. Put up a great effort.

Steward wasn't in McClellan's corner against Dennis Milton on the undercard, he was taking Andries on the pads (and taping his hands etc)...

Yep that was a good war and a scary KO then came another good fight against Miranda and someone finally put an end to JT shambolic reign as the middleweight Champion. I like JT but his reign was poor.

The P willy vs Margo was a great recent one. I remember watching P Williams struggle to put away a kid from New Zealand and he was very poor, this was just after Margo had wiped the floor with Cintron the 2nd time I think as I was high on both at the time might of been Cintron v Matthyse older brother big KO happened even. Either way I didn't think Williams would live with the pressure then he did barely but Margs stock was high. After the Cotto fight though it went through the roof which made P Willy into some sort of hero without having to lift a finger

Vitali vs Lewis, everyone expected Lewis to beat him comfortably, Vitali gained a lot of respect and exposure in this ultimately losing effort.

To be honest, Hatton beating Tzsyu made people take notice on the world stage, this gave him the springboard he needed to go over to the states and fight some top contenders.

Bradley vs Witter, I knew very little about Tim until then, expected a Witter victory, Bradley's performance announced his arrival at world level.

''24ft ring, who does it favour Roy'' ''without doubt Barrera, McKinney is going to be their all night''

    Come on Roy, behave:yep

The world might of already known about Marco but i think this fight made them sit up and take notice (before fight HBO said Barrera was ranked P4P:think) Hadn't seen this fight for a while, it's quality:good

^^^Excellent fight, that. One of the best I've seen.

Barrera as we know, could wage war, **** - he did it enough times :yep. Mckinney could to an equal extent though, I think. Kennedy was in some ****ing barnburners himself: Welcome Ncita 1 and Junior Jones were two cracking fights with some great drama. Nothing better than 2 guys who come to fight and always fight like they've got something to prove.

McKinney was great to watch, LP. Underrated fighter. Check out the Ncita fights. Especially the first which is an underrated classic. He had a lot of drug problems unfortunately. Was slightly past it in the Barrera fight. Which is the one people remember him for.
