With Bute vs Froch seemingly off.....

    I think it was decent promoting he was never going to get to the top any other way he would of been beaten on the way to a shot. Barker can come back and fight the likes of Murray/Macklin.

    40k was his biggest purse prior to that.

    Bute should get a shot at Ward, esp. since Ward refused to allow Bute to fight in his tournament. Hope Showtime will force Ward to fight Bute, but Ward will refuse as always................

    Id like to see a relatively easy stay busy "homecoming" fight. Maybe Allan Green then go after Kessler in late summer.

    if they could get him shumenov thatd be good, nice easy homecoming, with chance to be two weight champion in front of his home fans on sky, ticks all the boxes, then go for a few more challenging outings

    What a ****ing snub it was though, Showtime blanking Froch & young 'maverick' Eddie.
    Talk about a slap in the face followed by egg on the face for the young Hearn who was 'calling the shots' about home & away fights...

    I cant help but laugh! not at Froch, but at Eddie "Frank is obsessed with me" Hearn:D

    Eddie seems a good bloke, but boxing is so ****in dodgy that you should never run before you can walk...

    Both Froch and Eddie needed this dressing down to put things into the proper perspective.Neither could draw flies in the US and they haven't understood this yet.
    All Eddie has has done so far is to get his 3 best fighters beaten in the US.Not a very good start.He best listen more carefully to his Dad.

    I think Froch will only have 3 or 4 fights left in him at best, and I think 2 of those will be Pascal and Kessler.
