De Mori isn't fighting Reed next.

That's certainly a blessing for everyone, not least Damon Reed himself, who at 40 should remain happily retired :good

Why did De Mori refuse to fight Kirby???
Brian Armatruda said I can quote him.

Mick Kirby's record doesn't contain that all important requirement common to 8 of the past 9 Mark deMori opponents?

well, he's saying that its a fact that demori was offered to fight kirby, but 'obviously' declined.

and he is saying that amatruda said that demoron refused to fight kirby. he is saying that amatruda has said he can quote him on that...

im guessing that amatruda has something to do with kirby....

Sounds like MDM's MO refuse fights or use excuse has to discuss with management or with DK first lol considering he is the boxer who keeeps those people employed he should be calling the shots and in the smae breath he doesn't need much referring to management when it comes to announcing fights with opponents he can beat such as his last few outings and now Rob Calloway

Just noticed Rob Calloway's name on BoxRec versus de Mori.

On 3/10/11 Calloway lost to Welliver by wide UD.
6'2' Calloway will be giving away 13 years and probably 10kg.

Despite that he knows his way round a boxing ring and if he comes here fit
and wants to win he can trouble MDM.

[ not too bad Ippy ]

Cheers, it should be a good fight IMO. Calloway will be in good shape. He's a consummate professional.

42 year old Calloway was a good small heavyweight / cruiserweight in his day, and would have been an excellent opponent about 4 or 5 years ago.

Coming off a decision loss to world rated Welliver, he should be more than enough for a local card.
