Best wins between Haye and Povetkin

    Valuev or Chagaev?
    Chagaev
The Valuev fight was a close draw or 7-5 win tops for Haye, a horrible fight. The Chagaev fight was competitive, but more of a definitive 8-4, 7-5 win and I'd argue that Chagaev is better than Valuev.

    2nd best win
    Ruiz or Huck?
    Ruiz
Despite Huck never having fought at heavy, I'd still vouch that he beats both Audly and Cedric. Anyway... This will be answered depending on how the fight with Huck turns out, which is no sure thing. This also will depend on what Huck ever does at heavy later on. So, advantage: Ruiz. My 2+ year bet is that this changes.

    3rd best win
    Harrison or Boswell?
    Boswell
Harrison was a top 50 heavyweight. Boswell was a top 25 heavyweight. Boswell for sure on this one.

In terms of WBA resume, I'd take Povetkins' all day. Haye was the actual champ whereas Povetkin's belt is as meaningless as Chavez Jr.'s.

EDIT: I voted Povetkin thinking I was voting for who was the better of the two. My bad. Forgive me!

 ^^^^^ that kinda sums it up!

I don't mean it was created for Povetkin... The WBA "regular rule" in general has been created for the purpose of enhancing their corruption options and getting more sanctioning fees.
I think Povetkin isn't the WBA's first choice to have their "regular" HW belt at all, because he's not a very good milkcow.

No, just the regular thing of the WBA giving away a belt which belongs to Wlad to a guy who is ducking him, after Wlad beat their champion.

Only Teddy Atlas, the crazed delusional ****wit, believes Povetkin is champion

Neither were real champs as far as I'm concerned, that title belonged to Wlad after he beat Chagaev. They're a couple of clowns as far as I'm concerned.

    :deal

Like it or not, Valuev was the WBA Champion.

Haye Beat him. Haye became Champion.

Wlad beat Haye. Wlad became Champion.

Notice how Povetkin's name never comes up anywhere in this story.

I believe Chagaev is the better fighter between him and Valuez. When Haye beat Ruiz the "Quiet Man" was worse then he already was to begin with. Also think Marco Huck is a better fighter then Harrison atleast Huck is top 30 P4P

Povetkin isn't the WBA champ and never has been. Silly poll.

Also, looking at the pictures, why wasn't Chagaev's title on the line against Wlad that is rather odd isn't it?

That is so stupid, I forgot that Chagaev was even WBA champ at the time. I thought that was when he got sick or whatever. I guess he just got flat out stripped. Even though he beat Valuev(in my opinion by a long side even though the scorecards didn't indicate that). Chagaev and Povetkin both looked good in their last fight. Watching that fight really made me think about how good Wladimir is to dominate Chagaev like he did.

Povetkin refuses to fight Wlad. Haye fought Wlad.

So the answer is easy. Povetkin is much worse than Haye.
