He seems to be written off in all corners, but imo Povetkin is garbage, I know Huck is also ****, but it's a fairly even fight imo, someone will probably win on workrate.

Watcha gonna do povetkin, when Huckermania runs wild on yoooooooooou?

If it goes to points (which it probably will) you would have to say Huck stands more than a fair chance of winning it whether he deserves it or not.

This is what the legendary Valuev had to say on the issue.

I can see Huck winning this, and wholeheartedly agree with everything SNV has said.

Not seeing any markets for that but you can get Huck at 3/1 outright.

I fancy Povetkin to slip one of Hucks big caveman swings then counter with something nasty looking & stop Cap'n somewhere between rd5-9

Huck belongs at cruiser & I cant see him fighting at heavy again after losing this.

Povetkin will pummel him imo. But I like Huck and hope he wins. I think he can win, but it's unlikely.

I think Huck wins this. Povetkin is not the fighter he once was (and even when he was good, he was never that good). Huck has got good power and I think he can trouble Pov.

Very tough first fight at heavyweight for Huck, I think he will do ok for the first half of the fight but I would expect Povetkin to take him out in the latter rounds.

Agreed. I think stylistically someone like Chisora would stand a good chance at beating Povetkin, someone who will work their way inside and crowd Povetkin.

In the last 30 years or so how many guys have stepped up from LHW/Cruiser to win a heavy world title?

I dont think Huck has the skills or the ability to do so, though if he lasts the distance there's every chance he'll get a gift.

I dont think he's disciplined or talented enough to out-box Povetkin, who isnt great himself but I think he'll do a job on Huck.

Think Huck has a great chance here not overly impressed with Povetkin of late I honestly think he has plateaued with all the babying he has had and Sauerland will have no problem with screwing a Russian on the score cards. :deal

    They're both dire.

  14. Hmmm..... I can't help but look at the Lebedev fight, he was handled pretty easily that night but got a lucky decision.

His stamina and chin are both average, but Povetkin seems to be on the slide/done - it's a calculated gamble by his team.

A win for him isn't out of the question, the smart bet would be Povetkin by decision, but a Huck points win wouldn't surprise me at all, considering how laboured Povetkin looks these days and also his ties to Kalle.

Anything around 3/1 is really good value.

Flea Man: Povetkin is so rubbish, look at the crystal clear quality and bright vibrant colours in his fights.

Flea Man:povetkin is majorly underrated, look at all the choppy, grainy footage of him - he's a beast.
