Again, Eddie Hearn, through Twitter, has said Froch would move to 160 before 175. Eddie has said this numerous times. Why hasn't Froch mentioned this before? He has always had the ambition to move up and fight Pascal.

I thought Froch would definitely move up this year. What should he do?

Also, it looks like his next fight will not be for a world title.

I dont think Carl should move down, although the way he keeps in shape he should be able to without too many problems. But I think after a couple more fights at 168, 175 is where Froch ultimately belongs imo.

He would look underwater at 160 but the size advantage could be helpful, he looks to have the frame of a LHW rather than MW though. I dont see why he couldnt seeing as he doesnt bloat up much and stays close to the weight.

Froch is a big super middleweight, he'd be absolutely massive at middleweight. I really can't see it happening. No way can he make the weight without being drained to ****.

But if it happened, a fight with Martinez would obviously be very interesting. I'd like to see him fight Sturm in Germany too and knock that ******* out. Chavez would go nowhere near him. Infact, he'd probably be avoided like the plague by many at MW.

Froch has said numerous times that he makes 168 easily. During his incessant Calzaghe calling out period, he always said the fight would have to be at 168 or 170 because he couldn't really do 175.

If this is true - which I think it could be - then I'd love to see him fight Martinez.

If Froch could move to 160 relatively comfortably, I'd pay a lot of money to see a fight against Martinez. That would be insane.

Martinez vs Froch would be a helluva fight. Not sure how keen Martinez would be on taking it though seeing as he prefers chasing ex flyweights and ex featherweights

So he hasn't tried to get fights with ex flyweights and featherweights then, or he wouldn't avoid froch?
