Nobody is really talking about this bout, which kind of surprises me. Going to be a great fight with two very skilled guys in the prime of their careers. Don't like how inactive Rig has been; or the fact that he struggled with Cordoba. On that note, I don't like how Ramos looked somewhat lackluster in his last bout with a southpaw until the KO. So, it makes for an interesting matchup, with no clear favorite IMO.

Nobody is talking about this fight anywhere really. And I doubt it's going to be a snooze-fest. Just don't see that happening.

Doesn't Rig have a new trainer as well?

Rigo is with Ismael Salas, former gamboa's trainer.

This is definitely not a pick 'em fight. There's a massive difference in class and I'll be lumping money on Rigondeaux if there are any decent odds at all.

I just can't see this being much on an action fight. Both fighters seem quite cautious and and prefer to let their opponent to lead off. I'm still going to watch it though because they are quality fighters and I think it should be competitive.

I just did a poll on this fight, over 90% of fans think Rigondeaux will win and yes many fans are interested! ;)

    Rico vs Rigo :bbb

Rigo is a clear favourite, but there's a very good chance he'll get Shimoda'd, because he allegedly has quite the feeble chin.

    Rigo is clear betting favourite.

We'd all be dismissing this fight as in the bag for him if he'd fought 5 times in 2011 like he should have. He needs to fight that number this year.

    People always overstate perceived mismatches.

Narvaez was supposed to be KTFO by Donaire, remember? :yep (and yes, I know he fought very safety-first...but still. Nonito was supposed to be able to render him unconscious no matter what...let alone Narvaez being a crafty, durable and highly intelligent boxer, a long-reigning champion leading the sport in consecutive world title successes, and undefeated at the time)

I favor Rigondeaux, but by no means heavily.

I'm guessing most people's only exposure to Ramos was against Shimoda. That would be typical ESB for you.

Feeble chin? I don't recall Rigondeaux ever being hurt in any of his fights.
