this is plain n simple. Floyd is so damn desperate to fight Pac, he needs a Pac fight to generate revenue as he promised the court. And the court considers this coz of the sum it will generate, but did not obligated him only on May 5th. He cannot deliver that kind of money from a Canelo or Guerrero fight. Cotto will somehow do, but they will insist on MSG. Arum knows it thats why he will not bite on that May 5th issue and let pressure be on Floyd to agree on May 26th.

Maybe your hero can drop the greedy ******* Arum?! quit hiding behind that ****.
if you're the peoples champ, get your ass in gear and do what you can to make the fight for the fans

Congratulations, you have just exposed Mayweather completely. Now, wait for your e-award while I wait and hope for this fight to happen.

People really need to realize that May 26 is not an option. The UFC has an event in Vegas that Saturday. It makes zero sense to counter program them.

I beg to differ. Bob Stadium will generate an extra eleventy billion dollars. They have to fight on the 26th.

Possibly the biggest fight in boxing history wouldn't make sense to counter program a UFC event?, are you for real?

Marquez vs Mayweather completely **** on and destroyed a UFC event, a fight with Pacquiao wouldn't?, wake up please.

pac-floyd will dwarf ufc where they would need to reschedule their event.

This is a pretty high profile card for the UFC. The Mayweather/Pacquiao fight would do better numbers, but you're risking cutting into your PPV market share by going head to head with another high profile PPV event.

This fight , if it ever takes place, wont be competative.
    PBF picks Pac apart.
    Pac had nothing for Marquez.
He would have even less for PBF.
His come forward pressure style is taylor-made for PBF.
His best weapon would be his face, hoping PBF breaks a hand or 2.

Let's see? Fight May 5 with zero competition or
May 26 with slight competition? Instead of celebrating the fact that Mayweather vs Marquez "beat" the UFC, you should consider they may have cost themselves 50k buys.

Still I insist that a UFC event won't do bull to a fight this big in boxing, a fight even the most hardcore UFC fans admitted they badly want to see.

Though, May 5th is definitely a date picked by Mayweather to maximize profits as high as they possibly could. Considering it's Cinco De Mayo and Mayweather, an obvious favorite, would be fighting a certain "Mexicutioner". I doubt there will be ANY half sane Mexican boxing fan(millions of boxing fans right there) or not that wouldn't tune in for this.

Some random UFC card is going to cut into PBF-Pacquiao?

Even you know this is ridiculous to even say.
