Dawson. Anyone saying Ward would easily beat Dawson is drinking a little too much sizzurp. Dawson is nothing like Froch. Speed, solid punching power, better skills than Froch. Dawson is faster than Ward, and he can fight on the inside. I'd see this one resembling Dawson vs. Johnson 1, a victory for Dawson but close with Ward having some moments.
It's not a matter of who's better in a P4P sense, but since this matchup can really happen, who's likely to win. Based on both fighters attributes Dawson should be favored and would most likely win.
Chad wins this by a 8-4 or 9-3 decision, too fast and rangy for Ward and Ward cannot win a battle of the jabs in this fight cause Dawson's jab is sharper,quicker than Ward's jab.

it's crazy because chad has the skills and ability to be the best fighter in the world but mentally he's lacking. in a perfect world for chad, no one would give ward a chance, but knowing chad's mental passivity in the ring, most people can only see ward roughing chad up and winning a tough decision.
For Ward to win this, he'd have to make this a very ugly fight. Don't really consider either special fighters though.

Ward wins the mental game.. they are even in many areas but Ward puts Chad in uncomfortable spots.. The question is can Chad respond when Ward presents differnt sets of problems>? This is where mentality plays a role.. I think Ward will be Prepared for Chad.. Don't get me wrong... Chad's Fast double and triple jab pose serious problems but can he find something that consistantly works on Wards ever changing fight game..
