Ellerbe is also the guy who famously stated "NO NEGOTIATIONS TOOK PLACE"

when Ross Greenburg, Richard Shaffer and everyone laughed and said he is an idiot.

    It's pretty obvious.

Pac's last 3 performances was against ODLH, Hatton and then Cotto.
    He annihilated 'em all.
And Floyd is the kind who doesn't take risks.
He may have always known that he can beat Pac, but Pac was such a monster during those times that his father, trainer and close friends made ridiculous claims about Pac thereby strengthening the unbeatable aura even more.

Fast forward to 2012, Pac's weaknesses were recently highlighted by Mosley, and no less than JMM himself.
Unbeatable aura is gone (he arguably lost to JMM last time) and FMJ finally got his confidence back after KO-ing Ortiz (albeit in such a stupid way).

    This.

Plus Arum was very quick to sign Pac to Clottey before negotiations had really ended. Floyd, on the other hand, went on to sign to fight Mosley, the next biggest fight in boxing at the time.

    2009, imo, was Pac's fault.

2010, due to Floyd's inactivity, was Floyd's (although Arum may have already pre-booked Marg).

2011, clearly Pac's. No opinion necessary.

ETA: woops. 2012. Still in the habit of writing 2011.
