    DESPERATE PACQUIAO WILLING TO TAKE SMALLER PURSE AGAINST MAYWEATHER, BUT ARUM STILL WON'T MAKE THE FIGHT

    Manny Pacquiao announced that he's willing to take a smaller purse than Floyd Mayweather in order to make the mega-fight a reality. "Walang problema kahit na mas maliit ang premyo ko. Ang importante ay matuloy lang ang laban," Pacquiao would relay to Manila Bulletin journalist Nick Giongco from his home in General Santos City, which loosely translated means, "I have no problem taking smaller prize. The important thing is making the fight."

    I don't see what the problem is if pacquiao is completely fine with it.

    That was with the stadium idea to entice Floyd to take it, knowing their would be more money in the pot. As soon as Floyd insisted he wasn't moving from May 5 Pac said he'd only fight on that date if it's 50-50. Floyd can't have everything his way. He and Arum are the two greediest pigs in the sport

    No source, but that's what Arum would have been telling him. Pac also said he'd take less than 50-50 when that stadium thing came out and the fans and media were against him, I read it on here. Then when Floyd demanded May 5, Pac changed his stance to being open to fight May 5 but only if it's 50-50. Mayweather cannot dictate everything, the fight is dead if he's not willing to bend to make the fight.

    No he clearly said 50/50 and they have a fight and Floyd said no. Quit bein a ****** ass fanboy , everybody knows this fight should be 50/50 and there's no argument. How can Floyd call out Pacquiao and then tell him he can't even get 50/50. :-(

    I agree that they should take 50/50 but Pacquiao agreed to take a smaller purse before so its just a new excuse from Pacquiao,Mayweather's assistant was right :

    Manny Pacquiao decides his fights, not Bob Arum, that came from their camp's mouth. So if the fight doesn't happen, it's Manny's fault.

    Floyd said a 14 day cut off on drug testing was okay at one point. Then he changed his mind. Is that okay?
