You really are one of the dumbest on here. Lewis had no motivation for Vitali, wasn't in great shape. I'm sure in a rematch he would have been better prepared.
Picked Lewis by decision. He'd give one more big effort and see off a stubborn and willing challenger.
Yer Lewis proved in the first fight he would get stopped by not getting stopped and stopping his opponent. I see the logic in this....
In-shape Lewis beats disgracefully glass-faced steroid cheat Quitali by way of brutal and humiliating KO.
In the first fight Vitali was in great shape (as usually) and Lewis wasn't (to say the least). I see it a bit like rematch with Rahman, when Lewis underestimated his opponent (he wasn't supposed to fight Vitali), payed for it and didn't make the same mistake in rematch. Lewis was hurt, OK, but so what? He was similarly hurt against Briggs, and recovered as well. I think Vitali has more problems here. His style works great against his standard opponents, but someone with Lewis' skills and size won't be outjabbed easily, and VK defence would be nullified. Well, one could some of that already in the first fight once Lewis recovered... from this point the best thing Vitali showed (although he was still competitive) was his chin when he started taking one uppercut after another.
I wonder if Vitali would stay silent and not say a word again when his corner discussed pulling him out?:think
