If he returns to MW, RB; he may be on a collision course with Jermain Taylor.

Saw two interviews on ESNEWS with him today, he actually looked kind of good.

So long as he's able and willing to stay away from the booze and the bull****, he'll be able to make some noise in the boxing world again. Hell, a poorly trained/motivated Kelly beat down Rubio, a motivated one can do good for boxing again.

His horrible tattoos will never stop annoying me, however.

I just think it's only a matter of time before he slips back into his old ways, it's happened so many times. I hope he proves me wrong though.

come on bro... Sergio only beat Kelly 8-4 and was Knocked down when Kelly spent 2 weeks out of the 8 week training camp in rehab and had 2 drop 20 lbs week of fight... Would have been a whole different story if Kelly had a full training camp and was prepared! YOU KNOW THIS!!!!:good

IIRC, Pavlik was ahead in the 8th or 9th, no? Martinez swept after that, but that fight was in no way a walk in the park for Martinez. And that was against a........compromised?(for lack of a better term).........Pavlik.

If memory serves I had it 4-4 after 8, maybe 5-4 after 9 for Pavlik (haven't watched the fight in a while). He was finding Martinez and I think, if properly trained and motivated, he can beat him. It's weird how the Sergio hype train went off the rails while at the same time people are so keen on dismissing his best win.

Seriously though, good luck to Kelly.

I've posted this before. I was at that fight. There was a live view on the screen of Sergio returning to his corner completely bewildered. I thought at that point Kelly would win, until the cut.

Nice to see him back. I hope he has put the negativity and dependence behind him.

    Good luck KP!
