Best: I put a $10 bet that Floyd would beat Ortiz in the fourth round. Won almost 300 dollars. I seriously jumped out of my seat and launched my cat into the TV when Victor couldn't get up.

Worst: I bet on Oscar to beat Floyd. :verysad (he had me drinking the kool-aid)

Best: Oritiz over Berto for some reason in that first fight I felt that people were really underestimating Ortiz and that Berto had sort of bought into his own hype. Don't know how the rematch will go yet still mulling it over.

Worst: Hatton & Cotto over Pac for some reason I thought both of these guys would be good enough fighters that their size would make just enough difference.

Best bet was taking david haye at 4/1 to win the fight against valuev in play at the begining of round 12 or mosley to beat margarito

Worst: mosley to beat pacquiao or sam peter to beat wlad in the 2nd fight

    BEST

Had Pascal to beat Dawson on points at 9/2. Had to write into Coral though as they refused to pay at first due to the technical decision. They were paying out on the KO/TKO, for some reason.

Froch to beat Abraham, where Froch was the betting underdog. Easy money.

A double with Haye to stop Harrison inside three rounds, with Pacquiao to beat Margarito on points (both fights were on the same night). Odds were around 10/1. Managed to get a few other people on that double too, although **** knows how Margarito made it to the final bell.

Early price of Khan to beat Maidana by UD was 11/2 - by the time of the fight the odds had dropped to just over even money! So got a few quid back from that.

    WORST

I had a few bob on Katsidis to stop Burns inside six. Major misjudgement there.

I was certain that Chisora would beat Fury and had a decent amount on. Didn't know he would come in about 30lbs heavier than he should have done.

No doubt many others that I have now blocked from my memory.

Never bet any serious amounts but worst for me has to be betting with my heart for Froch to win against Ward.

Best has to be 25/1 on Calzaghe to suffer a knockdown and go on to win the fight vs Hopkins

This is easy and a good thread.
Worst;Even though I never thought Hatton had a chance against Mayweather,I had a momentary lapse of reason at 8pm fight night and saw Ricky was 3/1 for a win.Something crazy came over me outside the bookies and I stuck £200 on him.Even as I was waiting for my slip,I couldn't believe what a ****in idiot I had been.

Best; When I was better off,I placed big bets for fairly low returns so the best has to be when I stuck £50 on Ricky Burns at 5/1 to beat Martinez.I wasn't confident but I always had a soft spot for Ricky because I met him a couple of times in the gym when his career had stalled a bit and he really was a gem. There were far less talented pros with losing records who strut around the gym like peacocks but Ricky really was an everyman.
I had bigger wins but for much bigger stakes so this tasted far better because it was an unexpected win.
    Again,well done with the thread.
