Two of my most favourite fighters, I love Roberto Duran to death but I gotta favour Whitaker to takes this in a very competive but clear decision over 15.

And he looks deadly.

 

yeah but the Lang fight for me demonstrates best how lethal a combination puncher Sam was imo, great great fighter.

 

Was letting Black know what was out there....love the finish to the Laing fight, shows that, even though he was diminutive, there was no hiding from Sam....Laing falls halfway round the ring :good

 

What I also like about about Sam in that fight is the complete contempt Sam has for Lang, hands hanging down by waist and going for the kill straight away, nearly chasing Lang out of the ring

 

Probably pissed off about the white gloves ;-)
