Why would the two camps choose PPV numbers since both fighters fought De La Hoya? What does that have to do with anything? The reason that Mayweather has higher PPV averages is because you compared 5 fights to 7 fights. If you compare both fighters PPV numbers for last 7 fights, the averages are much closer.
