Is a win over Pacquiao enough to lift Floyd above Pac in the ATG rankings?

    I'm sure most people would agree that currently Manny Pacquiao deserves to be ahead of Floyd Mayweather in ATG terms due to his superior resume (yes it is superior) but would you switch their standings if Mayweather won their (probably never going to happen) fight? or do you think it would take a lot more for Floyd to surpass Pacquiao?

    I'm assuming you're not serious.
    Let's just play the game and assume you mean it;do you think a win over Pacquaio would keep Pacquaio in the #1 spot? (Which he doesn't hold anyway)
    I respect Manny but Floyd is a more complete fighter.I've read some of your better posts Arcane and I refuse to believe you are capable of meaning this.

    What's not to be serious about? Floyd is the better boxer but iff resume alone how could you not rate Pacquiao higher?

    when they fight, I look at it as the final exam for both, it either solidifies their legacy or exposes it depending on how the fight plays out

    who ever wins will be ranked higher

    Pac's entire body of work surpasses Mayweather's and the perception by most fans and media is that Mayweather waited Pac out a bit. In the minds of the general public, I don't think this one win will vault him over Pac.

    The boxing fans and boxing dedicated media have always seen Mayweather as the greater technician and a win, even a little too late, will cement that standing.

    The Pac/May debate will continue for as long as there is boxing.

    Floyd is already above Manny-Manny is hype-Manny is a top 50 and Floyd is a top 35-40.
