    Ruiz did throw a soft right hook a second before Mora stepped in, but I don't know about calling it an exchange. That was his first shot thrown in a while, as Villanueva had been giving him a pounding. (a sloppy pounding, but still getting hits in) It was a feeble gesture, more of a defensive one than a real punch.

    Really Ruiz Jr. was ****ed from the moment he ate that one big left hook and did the pogo stick on one leg.

    I agree he was ****ed, but this is boxing, anything can happen and the kid showed the ability to weather the storm and survive earlier, why stop the fight when there was no need to? The last flurry never landed, he had thrown a punch and was defending himself.

    No. The odds of Ruiz winning were so unrealistically small that at the stoppage, especially after he was staggered so badly, that it was a fine decision
