A coward will always find a way out. Floyd knows that Manny is just as fast as him. Floyd knows Manny is a killer and Floyd will not take a chance fighting this guy. I don't blame Mr. Mayweather... Good luck to him when he fights Guerrero on May 5th!

This charade appears over. The apparent lies seem to have all been exposed.

Team Floyd's last PR hope would appear to be to have the MGM Grand come out with some statement mimicking the "we're legally bound to May 5 date" Team Mayweather seeming smokescreen, and then to try to conflate such a potential statement with the judge's supposedly "forcing" the fight on May 5th.

Good luck with that. Or getting anyone to believe it if you did get such a statement.

This game has been going on for more than 2 years. It appears we are nearing the end of the circus.

    And it's about time.

This email has not been verified or anything. Why would floyd tell espn of all people that he doesn't agree to a 50 50 split making him look bad in the media? Its proposterous! He surely would have told his team to relay the message to team pac in an attempt to negotiate something. You guys have just jumped the gun on this one but nevermind pac vs cotto was always going to happen and you can read about it over at the scene. May 26th was bull**** from arum, there is a UFC card that day and he's not building his stadium no more for june 9th either.

Man, you guys blew this one. And you HAD it; you HAD it. Everything was all set-up for you guys to get the public relations win.

Instead, Arum seizes victory from the jaws of defeat, it looks like.

Not your fault, though, Smoothy. You did your part. Good work! :thumbsup

Like I said before: I don't work (or volunteer) for Arum or Pac; I'm not getting a cut. So I don't care what happens here. I'm just saying what I see.

I'll reiterate what I said before: I respect Haymon, Floyd, 50 and the Money Team. Even if you lost this battle, there is still a larger war that can be won. So, you just keep moving.

    :good

Floyd backing away from Manny was inevitable. It's like when a son tries to challenge his father and then the dad gives his son a look (You know the "Thats enough" look) and the son backs down. Thats basically what took place.. Floyd was getting wings and Manny called his bluff! Floyd thought better of it and came up with an excuse to get out of the fight.

Wait, is it already confirmed that the email was indeed from Mayweather, Jr?
