    Any reputable news agency will first confirm to Floyd if it actually came from him. Is ESPN reputable enough?

    So you don't think Dan Rafeal would know? Again if he has reservations about it, then I do. He has more stake in it, and would obviously want to "break" the story or at least expound on it considering he's the expert, and the lead boxing writer. He has no reason to trivially question the validity of a colleagues information, unless he had reason to. That's just my personal perspective.

    Exactly. I'm not saying it's completely false. But he hasn't pushed this hard for the fight, ever. You don't make a bunch of calls koncz trying to get the fight laid out and then email some intern or some **** on espn to say you won't do 50/50. Even if you look at it from a PR stunt standpoint, an espn email would not be the way a popular american athlete or celeb would do it. He could get on ESPN and interview to try and sell it. It would still look bad. But emailing just seems unbelievable.

    On top of that, nothing coming out of his camp other than some tweets about negotiations going down being erased tell me that even if no 50/50 was put out there, it wasn't something meant to duck the fight. It was based around negotiating.

    What a ****ing dip**** :lol::lol::lol:
    So, IF this turns out to be true, will you agree that Floyd is the one ducking or will you twist the story somehow?

    I agree he deserves 50/50. but I think if I'm Floyd, I'd make an attempt negotiating a bigger split initially and see where it goes. The question is whether or not it's really a deal breaker and if the email is legit. One ESPN employee doubts and Mayweather's assistant denies it.

    I can't actually see anywhere it actually states this on the site, possibly just me? In fairness I think that Floyd does deserve the bigger split and Pacqiao did say he would take a smaller cut BUT I am disappointed by this if its true. I don't think its means Floyd is ducking I understand why he is doing it but you think he would just let it go at 50/50.

    The only thing I can actually see is that it is indeed looking like it will be Pac v Cotto.

    What makes you think Floyd deserves more than Pac? Other than being a nuthugger that is. And this whole time Floyd has been tweeting his ****, all Pac has been saying is Floyd needs to accept 50/50...so STFU about Pac accepting less than 50/50.

    Because Floyd brings in more money. In boxing terms that means bigger split.

    Not according to their last fight. And Pac has outsold Floyd each year for the past three years if you look at their total ppv buys...fact!

    Against Marquez was it Pacquiao who brought he money in? I no I bought it to watch JMM like most people I know did... that fight was slightly unique in that people were intrigued by it. I would never buy a Pacquiao fight in all honesty.

    Mayweather has fought three times in the last three years, Pacquiao has fought six. That is hardly a legitimate argument. Why is it this fight will create more money than Pac has made before, because he is fighting Mayweather... so he has a point.

    The fact that you "would never buy a Pacquiao fight" shows you are a hater, especially since Pac is know for exciting fights....despite his last two fights being duds. And it's not Manny's fault Floyd only fights once a year. Fact is he has gotten more total ppv buys for a while now. Both are gonna bring each other their biggest payday...this fight is 50/50. No way anyone can twist that.
