    Tonight (Barring Injury) Price is going to stamp his foot down as a legitimate HW contender in the world of boxing and probably Britain's top HW talent.

    Say what you like about his record but when you watch a boxer you know whether they have skills. Skills pay bills. He throws great combinations, has power, uses his upper body and has tremendous footwork for such a big guy.

    He also has a truly extensive amateur career although I must admit that can be a negative in the pros because the stye of fighting is so different.

    Mark my words if he makes it past McDermott this evening expect big things from this man.

    I have watched quite a few of his fights and he looks real good. His hand speed might be a little better then Wlads and he has one punch knock out power and is 6'8.

    I think Price is the real deal. I've always regarded him as vastly superior to Fury.

    He definitely has potential and can definitely achieve in this division. He will do the business against Mcdermott tonight in spectacular fashion, then possibly go for Fury. Not sure if Fury will take the fight though and will probably vacate, as Fury got done in the amateurs but as the OP quite rightly pointed out, completely different story at that level. He also had a close decision defeat against the exposed Helenius. He has the height and skill, and unlike Fury, he can use his jab effectively and is reasonably quick for someone of his size.

    I can see Chisora v Price towards the end of the year, will be interesting.

    I'm actually a big fan of Price and he is one of the few heavyweight prospects out there I'm willing to invest that faith in. I always thought Dallas was nothing but hype and a domestic level fighter but I never thought Price would have smashed him that quickly, even with Dallas coming in at short notice.

    I think if Fury fights Price, he knocks Price on the canvas like he did in the amatuers but the difference this time is Price dont get up.. :yep

    Tonight he should be tested at least. We still don't know how he fights, if the opponent actually fights back. His technique is excellent though, I have to say.

    I haven't seen him fight yet but I've been told that, like most British fighters, he is in possession of a disgraceful Glass Jaw. Thoughts?
