Now that we have seen what the Cuban sensation and living amateur boxing legend Rigondeaux can do, let's analyze a bout between him and Donaire.

Last night, Rigondeaux showed A+ boxing skills including footwork, reflexes, accuracy, defence, patience and also great POWER.

He is a complete master of the Ring always in control of the situation. His body punching is the best in all of boxing today combined with deadly accuracy. His left hand is as some Irish TV commentator said " should come with a Goverment warning ".

His confidence is like no other boxer having attended many many World Amateur events such as 2 Olympics, 3 World Amateur Championships and 7 Cuban National Championships.

At just 9-0 he has captured glory and made boxing history by completely dominating a younger and undefeated Champion in Rico Ramos.

At the end of the fight Rigondeaux stated that he wants to face P4P fighter Donaire. While Donaire still hasn't fought at 122lbs he is most likely to get past Vazquez Jr in his next bout.

Supposing these two great ones enter the same Ring, who wins and how?

My money is on the Cuban star !!! :happy

    :good

Guillermo hasn't fought anyone near Donaire's level. I doubt Nonito pays any attention to him. If they met, Donaire would hurt him badly.

but that's just my opinion, i could be wrong.

And Donaire hasn't fought anyone near Rigondeaux's level. Rigo faced many great ones at the amateurs probably on Donaire's level and he dominated them all. Some people say that there is a great difference between amateur and pro? Well, not really. Rigondeaux showed that it's almost the same.

At just 9-0 he is not even a fully adapted seasoned pro yet and look at how he man handled a World Champion. ;)

I think the TS's handle gives away a bit of bias in all of this.

I think Donaire may be able to counter over Rigo's lazy jab. Only problem is Donaire likes to load up everytime he throws it

Buddy, just because some have failed it doesn't mean anything. Harrison was never on Rigondeaux's level, understand better now?

Nope, because you're wrong. There's a big difference between the amateurs in the pros. A lot don't make the transition as well. Rigondeaux is an exception, not the norm.

I'm not too sure either way but if I had to pick one I'd say Donaire could get the stoppoage. I just remember how Cordoba had Rigo down in their fight and I just think Donaire is too big a puncher to not hurt him if he lands a good clean shot (I think his power will still be good at 122 btw).

Donaire can lure him into a trap. Rigo likes to play the waiting game. Donaire has speed and power so he can play a bit possum and explode.
I pick Donaire UD right now.
