With the recent destruction of McDermott by Price, what kind of realistic opponent would you steer Price through. 2012 Apr - M. Sprott (top level journeyman and has gone the distance with Dimretrenko and took Pulev 10 rounds) Fury will most likely avoid...British title becomes vacant Jun - D. Guinn (Tough american journeyman was a former prospect, never knocked out) Sept - A. Harrison (Former Olympic gold medal, decent pro, big name) For the Vacant British title) Nov - S. Peter (Former champion, was durable, past it but a decent fight. Could be 16-0 by the end of the year.
I'm sure a fight between fury and price will get nominated now. He should be looking at that, and nothing else at the moment.
tae **** with that the guy is ready now to walk on to the European stage. Pulev has just got the EBU fight against Dimitrenko, Price would beat Pulev, and I think he knocks out Fury as well.
Michael Sprott would be a step back in competition. Stupid suggestion. Fury will not avoid him, he'll fight Fury next.
Fury will duck it if Hennessey ****s it up but Hennessey and Fury don't strike me as the types to duck. Price deserves some hype now as he is dispatching opponents and looking classy.
Sprott would NOT be a step back at all. I'm not Jumping up and down with glee yet. Impressive, yes, but John McDermott is not a good gauge of World class potential.
price to fight guinn, harrison, sprott and peter? how exactly will that advance price? all either failures or shot to ****, you may as well throw the current muhammed ali in the mix with that lot, I've never read anything so gay in my life.
if that was Price in the ring with Fury in his last fight and he got dropped like he did there was no way he was getting up.
give him a household name to get into the mainstream media and let him demolish him, audley harrison etc, then let fury and price fight on channel 5 and grab the nations attention.
