Absolutely. Fury is a lazy boxer (not as lazy as fat john mind), and price is too quick for him. Plus he's a scouser and doesn't **** about with all this posturing bollocks. Price needs to fight a motivated pressure fighter like chisora (especially the chisora that turned up against helenius) to confirm if he is ready at this stage to move onto good quality euro/fringe world level fighters
:deal sprotts still a step up, and id like to see him tested over longer distances first having faced a few issues, but fair play hes looking the real deal so far, hope he keeps it up!
Sprott is not the fighter he was when he embarresed audley harrison (until audley got ****ing lucky) I'm afraid sprott would present no real challenge to price these days, and gets a pretty bad beat down
Lets see how good Price is when he gets cracked on the chin by a decent heavy. Price couldn't have done better in disposing of McD and deserves credit. Focus now should be on Fury and a Brit super fight. I see it being up to Price/Maloney to move things along and really go after Fury. Fury will fight him if its put up to him I reckon. That's the gypsy way.
Well done to David Price, looks very promising but one step at a time. Nothing wrong with suggesting Sprott lets face it you don't have many to choose from in the Heavyweight division anyway.
You can't tell me you actually believe audley "got no ****ing heart" harrison would have made a better fist of it with two working arms, when the **** is so gun shy?
I think i've spoken with enough knowledge of recent british boxing for it to suggest i might actually know he had a bad arm, the poor lamb. Fair play, he knew he was getting ****ed over, and took a chance and landed a bingo punch. Which all lead to him proclaiming he'd been right all along etc. Another minge bag who's all gob, and no action
I'm glad you said that. NO way fury would get up from the same shot from price. He was wobbled to ****
Sprott is no puncher. He was winning that fight handily and got caught with an oddly thrown shot that wiped him out. He fights as good as that for five rounds and he'll make Price work harder than he's had to thus far. Problem is that everyone thinks he's ready for fringe contenders. I don't think that's the case, he hasn't been moved along well at all and needs more experience.
Price needs proper stepping up now, he has had 4 rds in last 11 months. He needs to be fighting far more regularly, clearly needs a World top 20 opponent. Can see Maloney sticking him in with another Latvian in June though.
