Is it fair to say, H, you not only admire Floyd, but feel he's incomparable?

You would think he could be countered when he falls in with the straight right but nobody has yet

I'd say the faults aren't as much in what he does, but in the choices he makes, imo. What I mean is that whenever he is hurt or made vulnerable in a fight, it is rarely a technical mistake, but a tactical one.

I don't know if finding a flaw would totally help because he always adjust! I don't know very many jabbers that can adjust and stay effective.

Maybe if he ever missed with it...:yep

  6. Does Floyd believe in his crackhead mind that ducking fighters for years means he should get a bigger cut of the pie?

In what universe does a cowardly champ get more? Do convicts get more $ in Floyd's world?

Who is Floyd kidding? He needs to thank Oscar for his PPV #s and stop pretending fans wanna see him shoulder roll and pot shot against Baldomir or little Marquez. Silly impulsive/unstable African American.

inconsistent jab (to the head) , could be better . Left hook is wide, pulls his chin up , leaps in with it (thats how he got caught against mosley). Fights in straight lines. Telegraphs his lead right. Can be overly defensive. Chinny. Lack of punch output. Doesnt throw combinations and doesnt seem to hook to the body all that much either. Can be a bit mechanical in the ring.

And yet here he is, years later, still undefeated and still sitting atop most P4P rankings. Pretty amazing for a boxer with 20 faults.:happy

Any dumbass can say a boxer has multiple flaws. How about you actually list all 20 of those faults. That is the topic of this thread genius.

Mayweather has combos if the situation calls for it. Name other boxers who can triple up on right hands.

Floyd Mayweather is for me, the missing link between Roy Jones Junior and Bernard Hopkins.

He has great athletic gifts, but is not dependant on them; as he has the text book Boxing skills and ring IQ similar to those possesed by Hopkins, you could argue Floyd to be a hybrid of the two.

Faults : As mentioned, he lacks a killer instinct, when you have that measure of control over your opponent, you should step on the gas and end them; Floyd could and really should of knocked out Shane Mosley.

If you don't get to him in the first 3 rounds, you won't get to him at-all IMO, and only guys with tremendous physical gifts (Judah) have really got to him at-all.

I´m not so sure about that, when he had a chance to knock out Ortiz, he sure as hell took it in cold blooded fashion.

Pretty strong killer instinct if you ask me.

He's one of the most complete boxers in the history of the sport when you consider his arsenal of punches, his ring generalship, his defense, he ability to close when he has an opponent hurt, his stamina, his speed, his footwork and balance, and his ability to adjust.

I think that's an interesting point regarding Floyd being a mix of Hopkins and Roy. I've considered that as well, given that he has extreme physical talents and yet religiously stays inside of his guard and works his system.
