This is the most logical reason why both fighters are still not fighting. Both are willing to take a low risk high reward fight.

Oh yea! I forgot they pushed his jail term back......early 2013.... If the world doesn't come to an end. I hope its not a big, black eternal void after Dec 21 2012.

Possibly, I'm not sure. I think Pacquiao has reached a stage where, like Ali, Leonard and certain other fighters, he can lose and it wouldn't affect his popularity.

At the same time both fighters put themselves at the risk of losing to lesser fighters. Its very possible at there current ages they could get caught and hurt and end up losing a fight.

Plus the winner of the Pac-Mayweather fight will probably earn more money and have even more fame afterward based off there upgraded legend.

There are a couple different ways of looking at it.

Manny deserves atleast 50%! If it was up to me he would get 85%... Manny brings the action! Floyd doesn't engage, he just counters!

It is ironic watching many of the same folks who 2 years ago were b!tching and moaning about Mayweather only wanting the fight in Las Vegas (not Dallas or Dubai or wherever else Arum was sniffing around) now demanding the delay of the potential fight to built 'temp. stadiums' to take advantage of Vegas' high rollers.

    Hilarious.

Only on Planet Pacquiao is the notion of publically declaring you'd take less money, which you NEVER had any intent on doing and backtracked from the SECOND you were called out on it, considered a good 'gesture' and sign of 'eagerness'.

Sad, man. But just another day on ESB. :verysad
