First fight was good! I didn't see Freddie Roach yet. I hear that he has a suit on! That's a first!

 

Round 1

Singleton is hanging back, throwing long hooks across the ring. Barrera hulks over him, throwing out a bridge of jabs as Singleton tries to counter with a lead right. A few body shots by Barrera. Clinch. Rabbit punch by Singleton as Barrera doubles himself over going for the body. Singleton is chopping down with right hands and ducking Barrera's wider and more looping shots. Barrera keeps casting the long fishing line right hand but Singleton catches him and holds for a second.

Round 2

Singleton throws away a jab, and Barrera swipes with a big ill-advised can opener hook after Singleton steps away. They slug away as Barrera closes in, both missing as Singleton drops a level on bent knees and weaves through. Barrera starts to land his right hand, then some body shots and a couple of jabs poking Singleton in the face. A Barrera hook just misses. Diving right hand to the body by Barrera, and Singleton fails to catch him on the way out. A lot of flapping and grabbing inside. Barrera moves in without punching, swerving out to make Singleton miss with his 1-2. Singleton is mostly trying to hang back and defend, not setting anything up. One good uppercut by Singleton.

Round 3

Barrera is landing some good punches in doubles. Singleton backs up, backs up, stops and grabs as Barrera dives in. Accidental low blow. Barrera keeps stalking and thuds with a few right hands over the canyon. Singleton is flopping up against Barrera but getting nicked with hard inside shots. Barrera works the body as Singleton backs out. Right hand to the face by Barrera before Singleton can get his guard up.
