Neither are Ward & Froch. So what ?

Then Bute should fight Farias, he's the number 3 while 1&2 are vacant. :rofl

That won't stop them. How often does boxing follow its own rules?

Ward would be for unification , but i know they can do what ever they want with there ranking , just like when Bute fought Zuniga!

George - Andrade for the #1 spot
Stevenson - Gonzales for the # 2 spot

Bute will have to drop that belt :-(

Translation: Bute should fight a bum coming off a win.

So it's going to be business as usual for team Bute. Any excuse is good to avoid top-level competition.

And stop hoping, guys: he will not fight Dirrell.

    Interbox/Bute's preferences are;

    1. Froch
    2. Ward
    3. Hopkins (it seems)
    .
    .
    .
    4. Dirrell (not even mentioned by anyone, just 'implied' as he's American)

They clearly are trying to avoid top level competition, you brainless ****.

who cares? Americans overrate losses. If anything, fighters learn from their losses. Froch might come out even better in his next fight.

Well, Ward is A-level and he aint coming of a loss either :think

Why dont Gossen give Butes promoter a call straight away?

Dont blame him. It's very odd for a promotor for another fighter to give Butes team directions. I misunderstood it as well.

    Team Ward is weird.

Dirrel brings ZERO %%%%%%. NADA $$$$$, to this fight. His inactivty and less than King David like heart, will have him running a track meet for 36 minutes. Does anyone want to see a Dirrel, who is less than 100% confident fight Bute?:think

Does anyone really wanna see Dirrel go out on a stretcher if he decided to stand and fight with Lucian.:think:verysad:verysad:verysad

First Ward gives advices to Froch to take Bute only after a tune-up, then Showtime disagrees with Interbox's choice of Froch; then after Goossen says Bute should not fight someone coming of a loss.
ward & goossen don't want to fight Bute right away, they don't want him to fight Froch right away - maybe they are afraid Froch is going to get KO'ed-. In the meantime they say nothing about a fight with Bute, but nothing at all. If they don't fear him they should just ignore him.

Also, Dirrel just beat a club fighter in Cunnigham. He needs a better win himself before he ventures into the unchartered territory of the likes of Bute/Ward.

Dirrel is looking good again after having to wait out the s6 for forfieting due to fake injury. He should look to beat some upncomers like Groves or a vet like Andrade to gain his confindence in a fight he can shine. ALthough both would potentially KTFO Dirrel as his chin has never been much better than a wet paper bag.:yep
