IDK, I thought the 2mil guaranteed by Shotime and the 25% of the gate and all Danish tv money were supposed to be close to 3.5+mil.

.....huhhh broken record, but here it is; Interbox put 750K of their own budget into Kessler's purse, Showtime was going to give an unknown portion of the allocated 2M per Bute fight to Kessler, and Kessler was getting -obviously- all the Danish tv money. If Pavlik was guaranteed 1.35M, I don't see why Kessler would not have been offered 1.5-2.0M regardless of that hypothetical 3.5M figure. 1.5-2M is NOT one god damn Danish krone, there was no counteroffer whatsoever, which is why it is CLEAR that Sauerland dismissed the Bute path altogether - the WBO Euro paper title that came with the Bouadla win is just another piece of evidence Kessler was gunning for Stieglitz's WBO belt.
