had it for JMM. Marquez fought with a good game plan. Nacho was right, it's easier for JMM to beat Pac now that he's more technical.
Every poll I've seen online (HBO, boxingforum, boxinginsider) has Marquez winning; some slimmer than others. Haven't checked the Pacland one.
Pacland had pacquiao 80% :rofl Also, this poll should be more in favour of Marquez but since their are so many Pacfans it sways the result.
Don't you think there are an equal amount of Pac haters who balance out the equation though? I mean, for every well-known poster on the forum that's diametrically in favor or opposed to either fighter, I can think of a counter-part in the same spot on the opposite end of the spectrum. Not sure.
Unless you are completely braindead you would have Marquez winning this easily by about 4 rounds 116 - 112 is the right way to score the fight. 115 - 113 if you want to be very generous to Pac. I have to say im very pleasently surprised by this poll, my 2 biggest gripes with the ESB forum since i joined a long time ago (and why my post count is so low) Basicly is 1 the constant trolling which im allergic to. And 2 and most importantly people scoring ineffective aggression. Nothing pisses me off more than someone hitting air/gloves all night and the ******s on here thinking its scoring punches. If someone unloads 50 punches and all of them hit air/gloves and the other guy throws 10 and hits 7 or so cleanly that guy won the round not just on EFFECTIVE aggression but also on DEFENSE. Marquez won the fight on every criteria that we are supposed to score fights with. Ineffective aggression should not win rounds. Untill everybody actually starts to understand this we are gonna keep having bull**** robberies and they will keep getting away with it.
Lederman is the most biased judge working for the HBO fighters you will ever see and you can not take his scoring seriously.
...and honestly, despite my openly being a Marquez supporter and Pacquiao critic these long several years that have spanned their rivalry - if I honestly felt that Pacquiao had won any of the three because he'd earned it on my card under the ten-point must system...I would say so. Not once has that happened, any of the three times. I mean, some people gave Marquez a round or two against Mayweather. I had him getting shut the **** out clearly, and there is no question that he had my rooting support 100%. I also gave Baby Bull three rounds in the rematch, closer than one of the judges and some posters who had it closer to a shutout. As for Pacquiao - he got clean sweeps on my card against Margarito, Clottey, and Mosley. Many people gave those challengers a few shares here and there. So it isn't like I just blindly score for Marquez or against Pacquiao.
